Uneven Warrior 2 - 2008

2008

Mikhail Karasev, Shura’s Uncle and author of all the songs of the project, was immediately notified about the decision to make a sequel to "Uneven Warrior".
Actually, thanks to him, "Uneven Warrior" was born: played once by his group "Solnechnaya Storona” / “Sunny Side” the songs gained new life due to the project.
"During the work on the first part of the "UW " very well-organized mechanism had appeared, and at the end of the project it was simply a pity to turn it off, to pull out of the socket such a perfect machine”.
Age is the only time criterion, when a person begins to tell the truth. Only at a certain age, people begin to feel and follow their own feelings.
Only at a certain age you can understand the other person, empathy and compassion. This age could happen in 25 years, each human comes to it in his own way, through the very dramatic things, through the loss of something that is very important, for others maybe through finding, but never from satiety. I want you to know that, from the man’s satiety there is nothing to understand. So when you listen to that record, please pay attention to this !

MUSE (EP) - 2008

2008

Another song, written by Mikhail Karasev for “Bi-2”, found it singer by itself. After seeing the text and listened to the music, “Bi-2” immediately realized that the perfect candidate for the role of Lola will be Lena Kaufman – the author, face and voice of the art project “Truffele”. Typical for “Truffele” combination of sadness, warmth and light, as well as the atractiveness of the feminine immaturity combine a perfect fit for the image of this song. Lena was also engaged in creating process of musical decision of "Lola" in her own home studio: she wrote and recorded all electronic parties and also put in the music track parties of her bassist and harpist, Anton Sevidov on the keyboard and even beatboxer Vano, who was occasionally performing at the concerts of “Bi-2”.
Professional Studio of Sergei Bolshakov was needed only to record vocal parts of Lena and Shura.

Uneven Warrior 2.5 - 2011

2011

New page in the history of the project "Uneven Warrior" immediately surprised by unusual approach to numbering. Does this mean "two and a half" that between two serious records the band released, intermediate and minor? Not at all! The work is impressive: two discs (CD and DVD), lots of great guest vocalists, American mastering. The selection of participants occurred, as Shura said, "on the feeling of the songs," but that didn’t meant that the musicians were only charged for something expected from them.
The song "My angel", recorded with participation of Lena Kaufman, tonally is in common with music of her core group – Truffelle.
